Getting behind again...

I've not had a pc for the last week or so as both my laptops broke and my desktop (whilst decent specs) has never worked; randomly turns itself on and off, almost invariably in the middle of a big hand. As an aside my dad's laptop screen went this week as well and he's been using my monitor so I've not even ben able to play my 360 AND our widescreen tv in the living room stopped working!!!

So, for most of this week I've been unable to play much poker, awwwww. But my new laptop arrives on Monday (tomorrow) and I'll be back on it with a vengeance. Anyway, I cashed out £450 to leave me with bout £145 in my bankroll.

So, I was over at my cousin Paddy's and played a $20 + $2 freezeout for him, because I'm awesome. Anyway busted out 81/87 or something with QQ vs 56d, nightmare.

I logged in as myself after that and played a bit of cash and a couple of tourneys, I think I finished about $25 down. Stayed up til 6am playing as well.

So this Saturday I was planning on heading out to Dundee for a bit of drinking. It's my birthday on Thursday but I have 4 days off this weekend, so was going to use it to celebrate. Anyway, nobody got back to me about a place to crash and I called it off.

In the meantime I moved my pc and played around with it a bit and got it fairly stable so thought I'd play a little bit of cash.

I played a $0.10/$0.20 table and a $0.25/$0.50 table. I figured I'd play cash so if I lost it'd just be a few bucks for that hand. Anyway after hours of grinding I was about $10 and $30 up repectively and cahed out.

Moved on to tournaments with varying success, but eventually was about £20-£25 up overall, about £165-£170.

My pc hadn't crashed at all during this time so I decided it'd be okay to play a MTT as usual. I played the $1, $50 added, rebuy and basically dropped $5. I went out 10th from a 50-ish field, bad beat. I never really took extensive notes so can't say exactly what happened, but I played well again and just got a bit unlucky.

Anyway, the next decent tourney way the $20, rebuy with $1000 added.

$20 + $2 MTT, with $1000 added. Players -45. Final prize pool $3,160. Positions paid - 5. 1st is $1264 - 5th is $252.80.

Jaysjacks gets busted next. I think Amazonios at this point takes him out and scoops a pot from Elgato which puts him on abou 80k. Elgato busts him and it's about 40k for me to 120k to Elgato. I grind him down, keep taking the best of it and whilst it's up and down about 80k each for a while, I get him down to about 30k.

I get AA on the SB and limp. He pushes, I call, he has K8, I scoop.

Finish - 1st. Net result +$1202.

Current bankroll = £809.53.

So, here's the plan. Me, Neil and Mike are going to work from a 'shared' bankroll. We're all going to cash out down to £200 and then just play as normal. 1st of every month we're going to even out he profit and cash out down to £200 again. Rinse, repeat as necessary. Between us we're about £5000 up for the last month to 5 weeks and hopefully can continue to repeat the feat.
